Strategic supply chain partnership with CSL
Pharmaserv further expands cooperation with CSL Behring. Contract signed for strategic partnership in the area of supply chain management.
Pharmaserv has signed a contract with CSL Behring for the gradual expansion of various services for integrated production supply. As part of the agreement, Pharmaserv is gradually expanding its services for incoming goods, sampling, storage and delivery as well as external support for buildings H68, M300, M305, M240 and M245 at the Marburg site. In order to ensure consolidated weighing with increased capacity, Pharmaserv is investing in a new clean room weighing unit and a new hazardous goods warehouse at the Görzhausen site. According to current planning, the hazardous goods warehouse, sampling cabin and the new weighing unit should go live in October 2024.
CSL Behring commissioned the new basic fractionation unit in Marburg in the spring, increasing the capacity for blood plasma fractionation in Marburg by a factor of four. In addition, CSL Behring anticipates a further increase in capacity utilisation at the site and a further increase in material turnover for production due to the start of the manufacture of new products.
